Biography

Attorney Kristin Purvis received a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education and English from the University of Rhode Island in 2013. Ms. Purvis taught middle school reading intervention in San Antonio, Texas, where she received an award recognizing her talent as a new educator. In 2014, Ms. Purvis returned to Rhode Island, where she continued to teach middle school for the next four years, during which time she enrolled in the evening program at Suffolk University Law School. In 2021, Ms. Purvis received the Barbara Connolly Hughes Scholarship, due to her work in education and her interest in special education law.
