Biography

Attorney Caitlin Hicks is a graduate of University of Miami in and Suffolk University Law School. While studying at Suffolk University Law School, Ms. Hicks served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Dennis O’Brien of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Civil Division. Following law school, Caitlin completed two fellowships with the American Board of Trial Advocates Trial College at Harvard Law School. Prior to joining Capplis, Connors, Carroll, & Ennis, PC, Ms. Hicks worked as a litigation attorney specializing in personal injury, including insurance law, motor vehicle negligence, premises liability and medical malpractice. For the past 10 years, she has represented clients at trial, mediation, arbitration and administrative hearings, and appears regularly before the Superior Court.

Presently, Ms. Hicks focuses her practice primarily on the defense of health care professionals and health care institutions in medical malpractice lawsuits, general liability matters, and matters arising before the Boards of Registration in Medicine and Nursing.

Ms. Hicks is licensed in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, as well as the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
